Here are some more pictures of the new Optima.
It seems like a lot of people here have something to say about it.
There is still a huge market for a decent, affordable family car. A good thing in my opinion.
I just think, in the same class and around the same price, the Sonata seems alot more modern.
But the interior is a step up from the Hyundai.
The good combination would be to put that interior in the Sonata.
And it looks like the new Optima will still use the “old” 2.7 liter V6.
It has enough power for most uses, but the mileage isn’t that good. Probably not that much better than the new 3.3 Liter in the Sonata…
I;m sorry if I’m the only one here, but I’m smiten by this car. I don’t know why. It doesn’t look like anything exceptional, but they have done a good enough job imho differentiating it from the Sonata. I like the looks of it and, at the right price, would definitely consider it for my next purchase.
