Mini Paceman short

I must say that, after seeing it in person, the Paceman is actually my favorite Mini.
A bit larger, it sits a little higher. And it is a newer shape than the one we've seen for years.

It looks like what if Range Rover made hatches. Too bad not a single mainstream British brand is under British ownership. MG, Rover, Land Rover, RR, Bentley, Mini, and Jaguar, all split up and gone.

BMW is ruining the original 'spirit' of the Mini brand... and this 'thing' is just the latest towards that end.

Dav,

What are you talking about? The "original spirit" of the Mini brand included a number of different versions of the original car. My favorite is the Moke. There was also the Elf, a Van, a Pickup and the Countryman, among others. Look it up on Wikipedia. This is perfectly in keeping with the spirit of Mini. This Paceman looks amazing.

STEP 1: Big Brother takes over (England bought Leyland--like Obama bought GM)

STEP2: Country goes Socialistic. (Companies leave, Jobs leave, money leaves, standard of living declines)

We saw it in England with the bankrupcys-then-Nationalization of the Car Companies. Now we're watching the same thing take place in America.
