2012 Land Rover Evoque

Last Updated:

SO we finally see what the interior looks like.
It’s hard to say, with this horrible orange color everywhere…

It will be available with 2 or 4 doors. The engine is a 2.0 Liter with 240hp.
Europe will also get a couple of diesels versions we won’t be getting over here.
And it will be FWD or AWD.

Sounds and looks pretty interesting so far…

  1. Rear window is too small — completely useless — and hockey puck shifter wrecks the exclusive feeling you get in one of the new Jaguars.

  2. I don't hate the orange color, Vince. This interior looks not bad at all, but there is still a touch of Ford that I find too cheap for Land Rover, especially the console.

  3. I think it looks good. I hope there's more 2-door SUV/CUVs in the future.
The interior is one one of the sleekest looking right now IMO. I think it's got to do with the shifter knob; keeps the dash less clunky looking. I also hope to see this in other future cars. The orange doesn't look too bad, but it's not for me.
    Over all, looking good.

  4. i love the interior. i even like the color of the leather seats.

but EVOQUE? why didnt they stick the LR2 name?

  5. Beltlines keep rising and rising. Soon, only tank slits will be left to allow us to see outside our cars… Unless this is the plan, to force us into buying the optional "all-around 8-cameras HD Vision package"

  6. From what I read earlier, the 2.0 liter turbo they are using is a modified Ecoboost engine with 240hp. Land Rover calls it the engine– Si4. Nice vehicle indeed.

Like bringing back the 2-door Tahoe?? I know that that wouldnt compete with this but oh i think it would be cool

This is cool car, they will sell much better than the LR2's

  8. Looks good, but c'mon guys, it's a Range Rover, the only brand that is less reliable than Volkswagen!

  9. A car for posers. Range/Land Rover should be ashamed of itself. We'll be seeing these abominations driven by the likes of Lindsay Lohan an her ilk. Yawn.
