i think this thing looks nice, as long as its not to expensive it looks like something that would compete with the x3 and rdx, the interior shot looked pretty cheap though compared to those to…which is sad because the x3 interior is horrible, but i think its nice looking
Still looks too much like the loathsome Freelander. Instead of making it fresh, they stuck a baby LR3 look on the existing design.
Looks like a pimped out Explorer sport. Ugh. Name recogition is the main selling point,I guess.
I actually really like the recent facelifted freelander’s exterior. i’m sort of glad they kept it similar but at the same time i don’t like the grille that’s ripped from the range rover sport and the “warmed over” look of it…it’s not chunky enough for a cute ute (liberty) nor is it sleek enough (rdx). it’s kind of like a bland mix of the two. It needs more oomph and/or more ties to the other memebers of the land rover family.
If trhgey made it look more like the range rover sport (or even the stormer), it might be a huge success…
At least the interieur looks all right, but the glashouse is the same as 10 years ago.
It’s the same strategy they used for the Ford Explorer:
All new stuff under the skin but the exact same body panels.
I guess those who were waiting for the new explorer will still be waiting a couple of years.

Is LR going to repeat the idiotic decision to only offer an automatic this time around?
The grill reminds me of the old but still venerable fashion advice of not mixing stripes with plaids.
Someone said earlier that this looks like a Ford Escape…and side by side, its like holy crap Ford, be smart for once! Name recognition and people who dont know any better will make it a success. Either way, I think it looks pretty good.
