As you can see, the next Elantra GT will be, again,  the same car as the European i30. Which will basically be a hatchback version of our current 2016 Elantra sedan.
(with, maybe, a different dashboard)

That also means it will be a bit more conservative than the current model.
Which is a bit sad.
But, no matter what, the new one should prove more popular in the US. Since the market for hatchbacks seem to be expending here.

And the next one will be competing with many more models than before. Including hatchback versions of the new Honda Civic and Chevrolet Cruze.

Here is the current one. Still a really nice looking car.
Still fresh and modern looking...

New Hyundai Elantra

This is really not revolutionary . But quite handsome.
Even the "meow boring" interior seems to work fine.

This might definitely steal some sales from the new Civic which might prove to be too "crazy" for some.

More and better pictures very soon.

All new Hyundai Elantra

This was sent to me by a reader. It looks like an official picture of the redesigned Elantra.
(Avante in Korea)

Looking good. But this might not be the best picture/angle.

More very soon.

All new Hyundai Elantra

From the factory floor.

As you can see, it is still a very nice looking car.
But, just like the new Sonata, it does look a bit more conservative. Although not as "old" as it's larger brother. (The Sonata does look like an old person car now)

Inside. It is way more conservative than before. Like a smaller Sonata.
But quality might be up. And frankly, when compared to a Jetta, it almost looks futuristic.

Official pictures coming up very soon.

2017 Hyundai Elantra

I'd say so far so good.

Sure, it looks a lot (a lot!!!) like the current one.
But it doesn't look worse or more boring (Like the new Sonata does to me)

The current Elantra really is one of the bet looking car in its class. The design aged really well.

This new one at least doesn't seem to ruin things.

Now let's wait for some interior pictures...
