All new Fisker Ocean EV

We finally get to see more of the all new Fisker Electric SUV.
Now officially called "Ocean".

No pricing  yet. But Fisker has said it will be much cheaper than the $700 "care by Volvo" lease on the new Volvo XC40 Electric. With a longer EV range.
A while ago, pricing was rumored to start at around $40 000. Not sure if that is still the case, or if this will be a "lease only" offering.

As for specs, the base model should be getting an EV range of 250 to 300 miles.
The solar roof is said to add about 1000 miles of range a year. Which actually seems a bit ridiculous.
But at least, it seems to be clear and you can actually see through it. (Unlike the one in the Karma)

This could be quite interesting. If it really happens...

New 2021 Kia Optima illustrations

It looks like someone quickly made a couple of new illustrations, following the info we got from the recently released official teaser sketches.
They more or less match the official stuff and the spy shots we have seen so far.

Although I really hope the final design is a bit more dynamic than this. The side crease also looks quite weird (although it is featured in the official sketches). Maybe that is because it really doesn't fit with the super straight line underneath it...

Let's just hope the real thing looks better...

2021 VW ID.4

While we are not getting the cute ID.3 hatchback in the US, VW will be selling us the upcoming ID.4 Crossover.
Which will be slightly larger than the ID. And based on the exact same platform.

The photo on top is a pretty realistic illustration of what to expect.
Since it matches very closely the covered car VW showed at the Frankfurt Auto show a few weeks ago (middle pic) and prototypes of the real things (bottom)

At least, this is already looking pretty nice and really modern. Something VWs have not been for a long time.
And much nicer than the Tiguan or Atlas.

The main problem for VW will be to convince US buyers to trust them.
Not only because of the obvious Dieselgate nightmare. But also due to decades of poor reliability ratings.
Due mostly too...electrical/electronic problems.

Mystery BMW SUV...

At first I thought this was the production version of the upcoming iNext EV.
But it actually does not really match other spy shots.
Plus, 4 exhaust pipes. (Which, of course, could be part of the camouflage. )
But the rear hatch seems to be opening much lower than on the other iNext prototypes...
And the headlights do look different....

Otherwise, what could it be?
Some new version of the X3? X5?

Since all BMW SUVs pretty much look the same, it is really hard to say.

What do you think?

- iNext?
- X3 EV?
- Some new X3 version?
- Some new X5 model?

Something else?
