2022 Subaru WRX: coming soon…

We were supposed to see the all-new Subaru WRX in just a couple of days. At the New York Auto show. Since the show got canceled just a few days ago, we will now see it “soon”.
From the teaser above, it does look new, sure. When compared to the current “really old looking” design. But it still looks like a small sedan from almost 10 years ago…
At least from the teaser, the “new” WRX seems to look a lot like the 2014 Toyota Corolla. Which was a pretty clean design, still looking better than the current Subaru. So I guess it’ll be an improvement, somehow…
So it looks exactly the same from the windowline up.
This will probably be a disappointment in the looks department.
