2022 Lexus NX Vs. Toyota Venza: copycats…

Last Updated:

Yes, I can see the differences. But these 2 designs are awfully close. Especially for a company that should do its best to differentiate its luxury Brand.
The Venza would look right at home in a Lexus dealership. While the new NX does look a bit sportier and more aggressive.
Is it really what Lexus should be after? Sportier and more aggressive?

  1. Test drove this new Venza, first thing that came into my mind is how in the hell reviewers are saying it should have been a Lexus? Sure the touch points are softer and ride is more comfy but it's what you expect from an all new model especially after a long hiatus.

  2. This is quite the stretch lol The bumpers are completely different. The wheel arches are two different shapes. The rear quarter window is raked more aggressively in the NX. The sculpting is more pronounced on the NX. Both the headlights and taillights look completely different. The only similarity really is the fact that they're both SUVs with side mirrors attached to the door panels instead of on the window frames.

  3. I think is crazy is that the Toyota’s exterior looks more like Lexus old design language, but the inside of the Lexus looks more Toyota

  4. Awfully close? Do you mean 4 doors and 4 wheels?

The NX finally looks like it was design by adults. I look at current Lexus products and immediately cringe and feel like like crap.

  5. This 2021 Toyota Venza Limited Hybrid looks like the 2009 Lexus RX 350! If you put this new one & 2009 Lexus RX 350 together!?! YES! It looks the same! Well, Toyota has done Great JOB! 2009 Lexus RX 350 looks the NEW VENZA! BAM!
