2019 Chevrolet Blazer

Chevrolet will be adding another SUV between the Traverse and the Equinox. (and why not...)
The 5 seater Blazer.
Competing directly with the Ford Edge.

Apparently, it will offer a 4 cylinder and a V6 as an option (The old fashion way)

As you can see, this already looks more angular than the other SUVs from GM. (Even retro?)
(The corner at the top of the A Pillar especially)
This could be pretty good looking.
I think the latest Chevrolet SUVs look quite 'soft". Like if they melted bit.
Especially the new Traverse.

Head over HERE for all pictures of the new Blazer prototype.

Another Blazer? they already have an S10 pickup based Blazer in other markets.

Just an improved GMC Acadia to me! More square then rounded shape. Same everything mechanically and interior going be like the Traverse! Pass on it!

For whatever reason; both Ford and Chevrolet refuse to import or use the current design of the Trailblazer and Bronco models in the Far East and in South America. They are kind of stupid to go through the long and expensive process of a completely new design that is only sold in Canada and U.S.!

Vince, leftlanenews just posted pics they call the Blazer and it is a totally different vehicle than what you posted. Does Chevy have 2 new crossovers in the works....

Wow, you are absolutely right.

But I "respectfully" think they are wrong. Their pictures show a much larger SUV. It almost looks as big as a Tahoe. I think it might actually be the Cadillac version of the new Traverse, called XT7.
Or maybe, why not, the next Tahoe?

LeftlaneNews is indeed wrong. The pictures they posted are the Cadillac XT7. Not the Chevrolet Blazer.
The XT7 is also pictured here:

I don't know, Vince. The SUV in the spy photo at leftlanenews doesn't have the vertical headlights or taillights like every other Cadillac, and the grill slats match the photo you posted.

Call me crazy, but could your pick actually be the new Hyundai crossover, since the headlights clearly are a thin LED strip on top, with a large lower light like the Kona and like the spy photos of the next Santa Fe. The blacked out A pillar look would be similar to the Veloster and Soul.

Cadillac is changing the front design of their cars. Starting next year with the new XT3. They will now all look more like the Escalade concept.
With horizontal headlights high up above the bumper.
The LeftLane News pictures are the XT7.
