2014 Mazda3

Last Updated:

Caught in Russia, with no camouflage on at all.
And it does look really good. Actually close to the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
Which shouldn’t be a problem in the US since the Italian model isn’t sold here.

It should be a big hit for Mazda here and overseas.

  1. Please please PLEASE bring a Mazdaspeed3 of this.

I want a sporty hothatch that is not juvenile looking as a Focus ST nor as effeminate as a GTI. This is perfect.

  2. Looking really good except for that big shark fin antenna that sticks out like a sore thumb. Can't wait to see more pics. Keeping my fingers crossed for a Mazdaspeed version.

  3. I think in this image, it's reminiscent of a melted Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback. Too gooey for my taste. Looks like there's another GTI in my future.

  4. Actually, the rear reminds me more of the previous generation of Impreza. I liked that car a lot but it just needed a lot of revisions – so I expect this Mazda (with all those revisions and better economy to do extremely well. The biggest problem with the small wagons out there is they aren't very exciting…. well here's one. I hope Mazda kills with this, and moves toward a sortier version. Perhaps an AWD version to take up where the Impreza failed in its redesign (with its low grunt engine and CVT). I could see owning this 3 !
