2012 Chevrolet Cruze hatchback

Caught in the streets.

As far as I know, we’re not getting this. Which is really too bad.
With cars like the Mazda3 and new Focus out, GM has nothing to compete in this segment in the US.

We’ll see…

  1. This looks nice… especially since it is not looking like a "CUV"(a "wagon"-like, or SUV-like car).

I wonder… if the 5-door/2012 Focus sells well enough… maybe then GM will decide to bring this over to the USA?

I might even be willing to consider a vehicle like this, from GM(despite not caring too much for their dealerships ,or their service depts, etc..).

  2. I hope that if the 2012 5-door Focus sells well… that GM will decide to sell this 5-door in the USA, and soon.

I would even be willing to drive 45 minutes(to the only decent Chevy dealership in our area)to look at, and possibly purchase, a Chevy Cruze hatchback.

  3. I think we will get this. It looks very good! I hope they update the interior with a more simple, elegant, and contemporary interior to match the exterior. That, and Jetta-like roominess would be pretty sweet.

  4. I think this looks like crap.

With that steep of a slope in the rear it can't be that much more practical.

    The Mazda3 is still king.

  5. This would definitely be an inappropriate replacement for the HHR…although they should still bring this AND the Orlando over.

  6. I'll echo the other poster above.

I'd still rather have a Mazda3. With the Mazda, at least you know it would be DEAD reliable and be a hoot to drive. It also comes with a much more powerful engine.

    I have a 2004 Mazda3 that I've put over 136,000 miles on and never had a problem.
