2012 Ford Focus?

Yet another illustration…
But they all seem to be pointing in the same design direction: a larger Fiesta.
Which would be just fine.

By then it looks like Ford will have a very strong and competitive line up.
But I still think the Fusion isn’t a great looking car.
The body is the same as when the car came out in 2005, only the front and rear were new for 2010.
By the time the new Focus comes out, the 7 year old design won’t fit.

The next one should share almost everything with the new Euro Mondeo. (Which is the car we should have gotten in the 1st place).

  1. Vince while i agree that many speculative illustrations point towards the Focus looking like a larger Fiesta i honestly don't see how this particular one belongs in that category..? The DLO is different, the rear is different, the headlights are different..the only similarities are due to common design DNA which is both expected and welcomed IMO. Sure it might end up like a large Fiesta in the end which as you say its not really a bad thing at all but still…Why haven't we seen any proper spy shots or reliable info yet?????

  2. All these american companies were selling us the garbage, and giving europe the good cars because americans don't appreciate automobiles the same was europeans do.

    Correct!

Look at the crap Camry Toyota has been pumping out for the last 10 years. Americans still buy it because it says Toyota. At least the Accord is still a quality vehicle.
