2010 Nissan Versa

Last Updated:

Looks like our Versa will get the same front end recently introduced on the Japanese Tilda.
Nothing major here.

You can search the site for my review of the base model Versa sedan if you want to know what I think of it…

  1. What is this facelift season? Facelfits are coming so soon that manufacturers are rushing trying to bring a facelift in time for its rivals; as a result, it hardly looks better.

  2. If you look closer to the pictures
posted on other sites, you can see it's a mule, the car stands on a bigger platform.

  3. The Tiida/Versa is by far the worst vehicle in its class.

Why would ANYONE buy this over a Fit or a Fiesta? They drive like crap.

  4. I went with my best friend and his girlfriend to test drive one of these since she was getting a new car.

We were on I-66 between RT50 and 123 in Vienna and the HOOD came open at highway speed. It broke the windshield, destroyed the roof and hood. It almost caused a multi-car pile up at speed. We waited on the side of 66 for 30 mins while someone from the dealership came to pick us up. The salesman had nothing to say the whole time.

The hood was COMPLETELY latched and there was no way in hell that she could have even accidentally (or purposefully) released that hood.

We walked right next door to the Honda dealership and she drove a Fit, loved it much more than the Versa and that is that. She bought the Fit.

    Nissan is JUNK!!!!

  5. i too drove the fit and versa. I found the exact opposite. the fit didn't fit, in fact the rear door on drivers side wouldn't close until the dealer had readjusted the striker plate. it rattled in dash and cargo area as well. The Versa, conversely was tight, quiet, and very smooth, much smoother than the fit. The Honda felt substandard. We found out that the same dealer principal owned both the Nissan and Honda stores and asked to speak to him. He obliged and when we asked what to buy, he said "off the record" and I will never say where these stores are, The Versa was, Quote "twice the car". I own one now, he was right.

Well no one else seems to agree with you, and certainly not any major automotive publications, Consumer Reports, Car and Driver, Automobile, etc.

Why the hell would a dealers owner know anything about cars? All they know about is sales numbers and prices.

Your story is BS. That story about the person where the hood flew up is shocking.

I had a terrible experience with a 2006 Maxima and I will NEVER buy another Nissan again.

  7. So this isn't a good car? But it's from JAPAN aren't they the best since Nissan is part of the big 3? After all, if Hyundai/kia sucks then so does Nissan.

  8. People are comparing the Versa and the Fit…the automotive equivalents of two mildly retarded children.
