Just like all other previous mercedes wagons, it is strictly for people who want a straight, roomy wagon version of the sedan.
Without the style that some recent wagon designs have incorporated. Like the new Euro Mazda6 wagon, Opel Insignia wagon, or even the Renault Megane and Laguna wagons. Most of which actually look more modern and interesting than their sedan counterparts.
The E class wagon always had many followers over the decades, so this one is mostly for the fans…
Mercedes sure likes their light blue and silver. I bet those are the colors they design to.
There is nothing elegant about that steering wheel.
