2010 Dodge Caliber

Last Updated:

Just like its cousins Patriot and Compass, the Caliber gets a new interior. A year after the others.

Sure, it seems a lot better. But I don’t think it’s enough to change the fact that the Caliber is mostly seen as a rental car.
We’ll see…

  1. FINALLY a better interior. If the exterior is the same then I'll still hate the vehicle. Sorry, but to me it was always a "what the heck were they thinking" type of vehicle.

  2. Nothing can save the Caliber except for a complete redesign.

The interior wasn't the only issue, the entire vehicle is awful.

  3. the interior is god awful now.. and this probably wont be much better…. i sat in a new patriot the other day.. it was fully loaded..leather nav. etc. but still had PLASTIC foam head rests… it felt sooo cheap… chysler interiors are terrible!!!!!

  4. I saw one on the highway with the lights on. When the turn signal came on one headlight went out. When the signal went off, the light came back on. Sad.

Looks like bankruptcy is inevitable if they still have these quality problems.

  6. Chiefly their problems is that the chintz-out where they think people won't notice. And we always notice. No one ever takes pictures of the glove box and most people only look at the driver's side and the center console. But the glove box looks like a cheap closet storage container. I can't imagine how horrible these cars are in areas that we can't see.

Also, this car is seriously fug. But if they'd made the interior quirky, then that make visual sense with the odd exterior. This is still just wrong in so many ways. Chrysler doesn't know what they're doing.
