2010 Honda Odyssey

Last Updated:

I guess the big Honda van isn’t such a huge seller these days. A redesign might not come very soon.
It looks like they’ll just tweak it a little bit for the next few years.

I am not really familiar with the Odyssey, so all I can see on this is pretty much a new grille.
There might be more news inside or under the hood, who knows…

  1. They would never bringing over a smaller version to replace the existing model. If anything, the JDM might come over as an acura.

If it did come over, it wouldn’t be called an odyssey. Every next generation is bigger than the current one (manufacturer’s mantra).

  2. Vince, The 2010 Odyssey will have the same V6 engine that the Pilot now has with Cylinder Deactivation Management running on 3, 4 or 6 cylinders at a time (across the entire lineup) to help fuel economy. Also new HID Headlights and LED tailights will find there way on the EX-L and Touring models.

  3. Wow, this is a joke, something is sreiously wrong if Honda needs to give the same vehicle a SECOND facelift, although they gave the Accord two “rear”-lifts with the previous generation.

  4. They will never over JDM Odyssey to US, especially to replace a bigger vehicle. (Stupid thinking)

Also Honda would not add a mini-van to Acura line up. Makes no sense.

Acura is tagline is performance and luxury performace. A minivan isn’t performance.

GEEZ some you really need to think before typing.

thats so not true lots of manutacturers made their next generation vehicle smaller:
    2007 honda cr-v
    2005 jeep cherokee
    2009 nissan maxima
    2005 chrysler 300c
    and so more

  6. The "Buck-Tooth" grill looks bad on the Pilot, and worse on the van. They should have quit while they were ahead ( or 3nd place behind Dodge & Chrysler, as it were). Personally I like the VW Routan better than any of them.

  7. junk is junk, cylinder deactivation will be troublesome, hey did you hear that a ton of accords were recalled?

  8. I just want my Honda Crossroads already in white.
I’ve been waiting almost 2 years and just want the Element to die!!!!!! The Crossroads is the nicest interpretation out of their fleet for their new image.

Honda can just bring in the new Odyssey from Japan and call it a different name for us Yankees..

  9. I have tried to contact Dave Marek at Honda R&D without success. I wanted to suggest to him about adding an All Wheel Drive (AWD) option to the Odyssey. I have both, a 07 Pilot EXL and 07 Odyssey EXL. The Pilot for me and the Odyssey for my wife. My daughter and I ski, and my wife watches. I recently took my daughter and five girl friends skiing for the MLK weekend. The weather was fantastic for skiing but not for driving. I had to leave the Pilot home because it does not have the room the Odyssey has for luggage. I looked at the Toyota Sienna in AWD and thought is was cheap feeling inside and not as roomy as the Odyssey. I love Honda engines and reliability. The AWD drive system for an Odyssey could be borrowed from the Pilot. This would solve my space issues with the Pilot. The spy photos with the new nose on the Odyssey look bad. Honda should reshape the odyssey nose to look more like the 09 Fit. I hope Dave gives me a call because I have other ideas I want to bounce off him. He has my number.

  10. I can’t believe all who believe this is a pic of the ’10 Odyssey. It is nothing more than a photoshop. The Ody used is an ’05-’07 model, before the last facelift, and is a color that has been replaced, Sage Brush Pearl. If the Ody does get changed, it will not be looking exactly like this. And if it gets the Pilot grille, at least that would look better than the new Acura grille.

  11. 2010 Odyssey V6 is the same driver who has now been running the cylinder activation Management 3, 4 or 6 cylinders at a time to help fuel economy. The new HID headlights and LED taillights to find ways EX-L and Touring models.

  12. The honda might not be a great selling car but it is still great to have on road trips. It is one of the most rented cars.
