But it seems that every new Chinese car that comes out actually looks pretty decent now.
They are moving ahead very fast.
Much faster than the Japanese and Korean manufacturers did.
But to be fair. They do have it easy. With billions of dollars from the Chinese government.
Everybody else in the world has to worry about making a profit, unlike Communist run companies…
Even with billions of dollars from their government, they can’t seem to build anything that doesn’t reek of third-world garbage. Looks like a 90s Hyundai.

… and GM and Ford. At least not when we in the proletariat are forced to bail them out.
Well, now that we’re bailing out private companies with $700 billion, we’re not so different from the Chinese afterall.
Their cars are definitely looking better.
that front end reminds me of a mash up of the last gen Malibu and the hyundai sonota for some reason.

Will they just settle on a logo? I’ve seen Geelys with three different logos now (all of them awful, BTW)
The rear reminds me of a rio cinco and the front does scream sononta and what are those two lites where the front license plate should be ?

This thing looks like JUNK!
Like everyone else said, it looks like a Sonata front end above the bumper…but they Genesis Coupe’d the headlights.

Yugo was sold here before isn’t it? We laughed at Hyundai before didn’t we? We taught Japanese how to build car before didn’t we? now guess what?
regardless you are ready or not, they are coming sooner or later! and someone will be buying one as long as the price is right.
after few more years when these reasonable qualitied and priced(by then) hit the shore, and then they will build a plant here after a few years of operation, someone will lose their shirt once upone a time offered by GM and Ford, then what? they will ne knocking on these chinese factory doors perhaps located somewhere in LA or Texas asking for a job!
Whoever buys one, deserves one.
