This is just an illustration, and I hope the real thing looks better.
It is rumored to be getting a small 1.6 Liter engine with a Turbo.
Power could be as high as 250hp. Which would be more than enough.
It will compete with another small RWD Coupe from Toyota/Subaru.

Awesome, this is what I hsve been patiently waiting to hear about. This is in the running to replace my Prelude. Cars like the upcoming Camaro are way too heavy and the packaging inefficient (read: overwrought) My first car was an 84 rwd Celica notchback, so this is good to see the rwd resurgence again from Nissan, and Toyota/Subaru. Hyundai of course has their Genesis coupe on the way.

So I guess the Altima Coupe will be useless soon? Although this will be RWD, I assume that it will slot under the Altima, leaving the 370Z as the Sport Car flagship (mainstream anyway…yeah yeah, GT-R, I know). But I can see sibling rivaly between these. At least the 370 has the biggest spread.

Sorry – but Nissan lost my business after two lemons & crap customer service. I can't afford to drive them. Further, their designs of late (new Murano, Maxima, Infiniti EX / FX, Sentra, Versa) are a huge disappointment.
