New car web magazine

I think this is great.
It looks fantastic. A true Internet magazine.
Pictures, videos etc... All in one.
I think this might be the beginning of the end for paper monthly car magazines.

The design appears to be very good. Some of the type is a bit small on my MacBook Air. But the load time makes browsing this "online pub" completely frustrating. Maybe their servers are overloaded with traffic? I gave up at page 4, so I didn't really dig into the editorial content. With online sites using new types of compression in an effort to reach a zero-load time goal, having to wait fifteen seconds for a page to load just isn't going to work.

Wow. How long would it stay free?

Oh, wait... the whole thing does take forever to load. But once it does it's really easy to browse back and forth. Still, a bit frustrating at first. Maybe that's just my ADD. But I really do think they've done a good job.

That website froze Safari and Firefox both. It caused my hard drive to work overtime, ate up my ram, and almost required a reboot.

No thanks.

Cool magizine. I registered. I too think this is the furure of all magizines. I'm even thinking of dumping my subscriptions to motortrend and car and driver since they give all the info on their sites. Still they all pale in compareson to Burlappcars.
