All new Honda Fit

Last Updated:

The tront looks great. But from the rear, it hardly looks new…

Let’s hope we do get the giant sunroof over here.
And why not the choice of a light interior as well.

A nice little car is getting better…

  1. I am sure it will have optional AWD, like most JDM cars.

I bet that Douche bag jones will say something stupid

  2. this is a monster that will kill you an a crash
    that glass will cut

kids should be better ooff with a real car like a cobalt or a focus

the kid above me isprobalbly a foreigner or a drunk

  3. I thought the Fit just came out two or three years ago, why a re-design so soon???

nevertheless, I think it looks HOT!

  4. Vince, can’t you just prevent Douchebag from having his comments posted? They are a waste of time to decipher and understand.

This will be a great vehicle.

    MR.

  5. The front end looks horrible. In fact, the entire car has a sort of cartoonish stupidity to it. The Mazda3 beats the new F(sh)it hands down.

  6. The new plastic makes this car look a lot better. The glass roof is cool. I’m in the minority in thinking that this car drives just terrible and feels as cheap as a Korean car. And it’s not all that inexpensive. I’ll take a Mini for a few bucks more.

  7. It’s smaller than a Civic….but I wish the price would reflect it.

I think the reason for the early redesign is that it’s only early for US (aka U.S….haha), this thing has been around awhile elsewhere and they are probably just deciding to give everyone the same thing at the same time….versus our lovely friends at Ford and their “Focus on keeping OLD products…OLD.”

  8. The Fit came out in 2001.
Although it was never sold in the US for years.
It was one of Honda’s oldest design.
I think the new one could look much better in person.

  9. 2″ longer
    1″ wider
    8 more HP (1.5L)
    2 more lb-ft torque
    2 mpg better
    4 db quieter
    chassis/suspension stronger
    AND…
It weighs the same as the current model

  10. Looks a lot better even though it’s still styled like a doorstop. If you must have a miniscule car, this is really the only other option besides the Mini. I’d take the Mini.

  11. One of the worst dashboard designs in a decade. Such an unbalanced, confused-looking jumble of plastic, although not quite as inelegant as the current Civic’s dash. And Honda, what’s with that lumpy steering wheel design you keep forcing upon us? Please stop.

I agree, but have you priced a Civic lately? Oy vey!

  12. to reply to “douchebag” 1. I believe cars have had safety glass for decades now 2. better off with a cobalt or focus!?!? ROTFLMFAO!!! have you checked the crash test results on those? the depreciation? the reliability?

  13. A Mini doesn’t have 4 doors and crawling in the back-seat of a compact car is typically a pain in the ass. I suppose the new mini caravan, or whatever that is, has that third door.

The Fit we got in the States was already old and stale, so the redesign isn’t really as soon as it might seem.
