Buick Velite heading for production!

That's what the "GM people" are saying.
Let's hope they pull a Solstice on us and don't change it too much from the 2004 Concept.
It still looks great. If they don't price it too high, it would be a great alternative the the rather underwhelming new Sebring convertible Limited. Which can already top $34 000.

What else can GM do right????

What is it????

My vote goes to the VW Tiguan.

What do you think???

Evo X testing

Well.. That's about it.
It looks pretty much like what they've already showed us.
A WRX killer....

Next BMW 7 series interior

The German magazine AutoBild as a few new pictures of the redesigned 7 series.
From this, all I can say is that it looks pretty cartoony...

New Laguna wagon

Nice but nothing spectacular, right?

Lots of people already seem disapointed by the new Renault.
We'll see more with official shots next week.

One more Land Cruiser picture

Not sure what else to say.
it sure doesn't look like it was designed in the 21st Century...

Santa Fe Vanilla White

Just one of these "special editions" for the German market.
But it does look pretty good.
Usually these are just a bunch of decals with ugly wheels.

Fat guy in a Mondeo

Not that much room left in there.
I thought the pic was actually ineresting because it shows a wood color I had not seen yet for that car. Doesn't seem as shiny.
Maybe it's the picture... Or something...

By the way, the "fat guy" is one of the designers of the "Hi tech link between the the car and driver"...
Whatever that is....

New Renault Laguna

Not sure if this is real or not.
But it does match what we've seen before, right???

2008 Toyota Land Cruiser

The big one is back.
As you can see, it still shares almost everything with the Lexus version.
The Lexus being more expensive, they introduced it first. Hoping people might think of the Toyota as a "cheaper Lexus".

I guess the engine will mostly be similar too.
Again, a big truck SUV with a big V8. And the whole thing looks like it was designed in 1983.

Not my thing....

Infiniti EX concept Video

I think this will be a sure hit when it comes out.
Right now, there isn't much competition for a Luxury compact SUV.
The BMW X3 is one of the ugliest thing on wheels and not many people even know the LR2 even exists.
The only thing they have to worry about is the upcoming small Lexus SUV. And the Mercedes. And the Volvo. And...

Wait a minute.
They need to hurry that thing into production.

Why not....

For those of us who might not have a busy sex life, there is now a way to avoid the shame.
Instead of tinting your windows, why don't you just get these stickers from a company called, surprise, Erotika.

You can even stay inside, watch the people walking by your car in a state of shock, admiration, and maybe even envy.
Isn't that worth a few bucks???

Altima coupe production

Here it is. As told from the people who are actually building them.

There are also new rumors about an upcoming convertible version.
That would be great....

AWD V6 Corolla coupe coming???

Why not.
Toyota is planning a 3.5 Liter V6 version of the Auris. (Blade)
And a coupe might not be far behind. It could very well end up over here as the Corolla coupe.

Toyota has already stated their 3.5 Liter V6 is costing them $1000 less per unit to produce than the previous 3.3 Liter version.
So it might make sense to squeeze it into a smaller car and get a few steps ahead of the competition.

We'll see...

2009 Chevrolet Traverse

Chevrolet is rumored to get their own version of the Saturn Outlook (pictured here) as early as next year.
The Saturn version doesn't look that much different from the GMC one, so the Chevy won't be "all new".
But you can expect a redesigned interior and a new front end that would match the 2008 Malibu.

I have not read a bat review about these cars yet. And they have all been selling very well for GM. (Even the Buick Enclave)

A good move...

More Chinese Corolla photos

Looks like this is pretty much what we'll get over here for 2008.
Too bad....

By the way, I was driving a 2007 Corolla a couple of weeks ago for 3 days.
Nice smooth engine, comfortable suspension.
And it did feel pretty solid.

But the interior was borderline depressing...
The new one at least improves the interior a lot.
So it should still be a nice car.

I just wish they did more with the design.
But I guess it doesn't really matter, does it...

"FAW" Chinese sedan

Never heard of this brand. So far.

But this new small sedan doesn't really look worse than anything we get over here, does it?
Like the Hyundai Elantra, or the Corolla.
Of course, nobody knows how it drives. Or how long it lasts...

But if they could sell this for close to $10 000, I bet quite a few people would be interested.

Lexus LS testing

But what?
This looks like a normal LS Hybrid. So what are they testing, and why are they hidding all the logos???

Dodge JC49

Some code name.
This car based "crossover/SUV" seem smaller than the Ford Edge. In real life it looks more like a CRV or RAV4 sized car.

A Chrysler version of this might end up replacing the beloved PT Cruiser.
Let's hope they. at least, give it its own design. They shouldn't pull an Aspen on us.

Once again, Chrysler seems to be late to the party...

Fiat 500

This is a pretty gutsy move.
Or does the guy knew the truck driver??

Solstice facelift???

I wonder why the Pontiac Solstice featured in the Transformers movie has this new front end.

Maybe a glimpse of things to come???

Lexus IS convertible

I can't tell if these are real or not...
But the fastback design is a surprise. I have never seen that on a convertible. And it doesn't really match the sedan.
I am sure it'll look pretty nice anyway.
First Japanese competition to the European hart top convertibles from Volvo and BMW.

Chery video

Be warned. It is pretty tacky.
And better viewed with the sound turned off...

About their pretty good looking M14 concept designed by Pininfarina.
We''ll have to wait and see if this will ever make it to production....

Chinese Auto show video

Interesting German video about the 2007 Shanghai auto show.

Audi Q5

Official?? Not???
Who knows...

Same thing again and again...

RX testing????

I wonder what they can be testing in the US, in a Toyota badged lexus RX...

It doesn't look "weird" like mules do. So I guess this is not the all new one for 2009.
At least not yet...

Peugeot 308

Now official...
One super modern looking small car. But again, it does look like the other Peugeots....

Chinese Geely going after Lexus

Check out these upcoming models from Geely.

Again, I don't know what to say....

Next Opel Vectra

Still an illustration (exterior).
And we might get this, or close to it, as the next Saturn Aura.
But I guess we'll have to wait a bit. The Aura is still new over here and I don't see GM redesigning their models after just 2 years...

2007 F-150 Harley Davidson

22 inch wheels and 450hp!

I am not sure what to say.....

Next RWD Tiburon interior

Actually not so new looking.
But hey, it'll get a V8, right?

Mercedes Ocean Drive Concept

In the "real world"...

Peugeot 308

But don't they all start looking the same????

Compact Porsche SUV illustration

Why not...
This is rumored to be based on the same platform as the upcoming VW Tiguan and Audi Q5.
Hardly Porsche material...

But, hey. Money talks.
