Toyota Estima/Previa Hybrid

Last Updated:

I already posted some pictures of this one a few days ago.
But now it is official.

The redesigned version of the Hybrid Estima is here.
As I said, it uses a 2.4 Liter engine combined with an electric motor and a CVT transmission.
Pretty similar to our Camry Hybrid.
The front end is all new. With a different design from the regular Estima minivan.

I guess that’s what Toyota means when they said they want to give their Hybrid cars a more different look than the regular models: new front ends and LEDs in the back…

The interior is a bit smaller than our Sienna, but as you can see, there is still plenty of room. And it is way more stylish.

And I still think there is a market in the US for a 30mpg minivan…

  1. I have now an 06 Toyota Sienna and have owned an 05 Honda Oddyse for a few months and I must say the styling of the Estima both inside and out are light years ahead of the two U.S. minivans. It will be a big hit if Toyota decide to bring the Estima here.

  2. My Mazda5 minivan gets over 30mpg/highway…
and you know if the Estima/Previa comes here it’ll be over $30000, what’s the point?

  3. I want my speedo and tach in front of me like God intended. Otherwise, sharp looking vehicle, especially since there’s only so much you can do to style a loaf of bread.

  4. FUCKING ugly. Also known as.. FUGLY! I love japanese cars.. but this peice of shit eyesore can stay in japan along with the rest of those small pee pee yielding engineering guys who tie up and bondage their wives, daughters and mother!
