2007 Toyota Corolla.

Last Updated:

Again, sorry for the bad picture. But I think this is the 1st shot of the next “Corolla with a trunk”.
Basically, the one we’ll get.

Just like I thought, the trunk ruins the car. It now looks like any other sedan that has been on the road for the last 20 years…
We’ll now more soon.

  1. yeah this is an ugly, boring car.. the corolla must be toyota for BORING.. *yawn* BUT.. as always thanks Vince for keeping us updated!! it’s appreciated! 🙂

  2. That looks too much like the current Corolla and I think the ’07 will be a more impressive style or the new Civic will kill it.

  3. …Looks like the current US model with the Australian model’s front and rear end caps.

Question: Is this just a “quickie”, short duration update or a test mule?

  4. This new photo cannot be the 07 corolla. Its looks as if it is the same as the 06 corolla. Notice the front head lights and grill. Looks the same to me.

  5. very intelligent answer, engine sludge is a hidden fact of all Toyotas. Do a search on the net with the words Toyota Engine Sludge and see what you get, Enjoy! Dumb implies someone doesn’t know what they are talking about. Now, look in the Mirror and say it again!!!

  6. The only toyotas that had any engine sludge problems were camrys from 10 years ago. Do some reaseach before you post BS all over the place.

  7. Please Please !, your manners are digusting. Once again search on the net. Everthing I say is fact and the problems were with camry 4 & 6 cyl. Sienna 6 cyl and lexus 6. Buy the way, you cannot outwit me, I am simply more classy and intelligent. It just shows in the messages. Please, you must be smart enough to do a google search. Do us all a favour and do that before your next rude post. There is no substitute for intelligence!

  8. i agree, that one guy that is being rude should go away. I did the search you suggested and your right, it is a big problem with many Toyotas.

  9. The engine sludge problem was in 4Cyl 5SFE and 6cyl 1MZFE engines in the late 90’s to early 00’s. The problem was fixed and there has been nothing said about it since then. You are going by what you see on the internet. The sludge problem was limited to only these two engine. Granted those two engines were standard or optional equipment in Toyota’s best selling vehicles. I am a former Toyota tech and still keep in touch with some of the guys I worked with and the sludge problem is not nearly as bad as everyone thinks it is according to them, what they see ona day to day basis.

I also had a 97 Corolla 7AFE that had 175K miles on it when I got rid of it. The oil was changed every 6-8000 miles if it was lucky. It never showed any signs of sludge.

If you want to talk about how bad the sludge is maybe you should have all your facts.

What about the headgasket, motor mount and power steering hose problems with Tauruses. I havent heard of Ford extending the warranty on those vehicles. Oh yeah the Chrysler transmissions that everyone seems to have problems with. Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head right now I am sure I could search the internet and find lots of websites about how bad other American cars are.
