2006 US Honda Civic

As I said after seeing the car in person, it looks much better than in the crappy spy shots.
Much, much more substential and expensive looking than the previous model.
And that interior is my favorite of almost any car. Finally something designed for the 21st century!

Here are pictures of the Hybrid, now more powerful and with an even better gas mileage.

The regular coupe is even better looking . And it shares the sedan's stunning interior.

The one all the car magazines will talk about (and the least popular in sales), the new Si with great looking 18 inch wheels.

I don't have anything else to say about these until I drive one. They should show up at dealers in 2 weeks only!

The new Civic isn't just fugly, it's boring, too. I like how the body side molding is mounted so low that it's practically useless. And what's with the 2 level instrument panel?

Digital panel oh it's ugly. Those digital panels have been disconitued from most of the cars in the early 90-s and late 80-s because of high risk of crushes, people who drove those kind of cars have been at greater risk of crushing than people with analog clusters. Why? Because it was interesting and unusual for cars that have digital readers. I did not came up with that :)

Digital panels are great!
Why would that be hard to read??? Is beyong me.
Clocks have been digital (even on cars) for a long time and nobody's complaining about not knowing what time it is...

The only thing that would bother me about it, is the replacement cost . A friend of mine was quoted about $3000 to replace the readouts of his used Lexus ES.
But I'm sure the Honda one is a cheaper unit to produce.

Go digital!!!!!!!

Really nice design. It reminds me of the RWD Corolla GTS liftback of 20 years ago. I am praying for Toyota to bring back something like that and RWD is a must.
