STS interior details

Here are a few exemples of bad detailings I noticed while at the Auto show:

The new Cadillac STS interior is just not up to speed with the rest of the car.
And details are what makes the difference! Especially at above $50 000!!!
The console is jut plain and almost cheap looking.
Just sit in the new Acura RL for a few minutes, and see the difference!

The wood and the chrome part on the console don't even fit well. There's quite a gap there...
At these prices, thta shouldn't be acceptable.

And it's about time they put decent, and fency looking cup holders on the back seat.
It's not a matter of life and death, but everyone else is doing something nice...

Did you see the gap at a dealer lot or an autoshow? That can make a huge difference. Gerenally autoshow cars get the crap beat out of them by the genreal public.

I saw it at the press day of the Auto show. 2 days before it opened to the public.
I was one of the only one interested in the car.
So maybe just a handfull had gone in it before me...
And the gap was much more obvious in person. It just looked wrong. At least 3 or 4 mm.
I know I'mm being picky. But why other manufacturers can do it.
And the overall feel of the interior is just OK. Nothing you'd expect for a car that was over $55 000!!!

There is nothing wrong with picky. I was just curious. At my local auto, certain things like knobs get removed on purpose to keep them from getting stolen so I just wondering if that was the case.
