More 2006 Avalon

Here are some of the first official photos of the all new Toyota Avalon for 2006.
The front end looks fine, but the rear looks to be pretty weird…
Let’s hope it’s one of these cars that “looks better in the flesh”…
Interior is huge, four models to choose from, and the new 3.5Liter V6 has 280hp.

I see alot of the Volkswagen Phaeton from the side profile.
I think, althought the VW is boring, it is a simpler and stronger design. This looks very, well, soft and lumpy…
Or maybe I’m still recovering from New Year’s eve…

I’m not sure about this ‘new’ Avalon re-design it seems so ‘caddilac-esque’. Almost like it would just blend in with everything else out there…yeah a little bit of this and a little bit of that.. = blaaah.

A great car I’m sure. But it should be it’s “own design”.
The Maxima tries, at least.And so does the new TL, I think.
