2006 Cadillac DTS. Kind of…

That’s right, kind of.
This is Geoege Bush’s new ride for 2005. And the new presidential limousine is now based on the updated 2006 DTS.
So what you see here, is the new front end design for the large Cadillac.
The rear and interior are also new. It now fits more the design theme of the CTS and STS.
But it is basically the same car than before. The rest of the car is pretty much unchanged.
And it is now the only Front Wheel Drive model in the line up…
Looks like they didn’t want spend all that cash in a new model, but didn’t want to “abandon the old guys” at the same time.
And that’s probably a smart move…
I traded my 2 yr. old Deville just in time because I knew the new ones could only get worse! The two new Toyota replacements have a much better quality of fit, finish and flawless operation than I ever experienced with my ’01 Park Ave. or my ’02 Deville. Our other two vehicles will follow soon for Toyota or Honda products, if GM continues to “stray from excellence.”
