2021 VW Nivus

We've seen spy shots of this before (HERE). But these are "official" VW Teasers.

The small Nivus will basically be an SUV version of the Polo. The sub-Golf model we never got in the US.
So far this is mostly for the South American market. And will end up next year in Europe as well.

VW had said a few times before they were considering a small Polo based SUV for our market.
So maybe that's that could be it.

Who knows...

VW is smart enough to engineer and build cars but really dumb when it comes to identifying other market needs. I will be more than satisfied with a US bound ID.3. There was no need for an extra longer Tiguan or the absence of a smaller SUV.

so is the T-Cross...

As hot as the subcompact CUV market is, I can't imagine why VW ignores it. If you count the Seltos as subcompact, Kia will be having three players in this niche. VW marketing is really misplaced in the U.S.
