2021 Aston Martin DBX

Last Updated:

I think this looks quite fine (Even though it still has a Ford vibe to it)
It looks much nicer and not as tacky than the Bentley Bentayga.
For about $30 000 more, at $190 000.
The engine is a version of the twin turbo 4.0 Liter AMG V8 .With 542 HP no one will ever use…
At least, it is not ugly. And ends up being pretty successful at incorporating classic Aston martin design cues…

  1. A Ford vibe? I thought they used to say the Fusion, when first introduced, looked like an Aston from the front? So the Aston definitely looks like an Aston. That said, I thought the same thing when first seeing the DBX.

  2. Super hot. Interior feels dated, but it's still very nice in person I'm sure. This'll handily replace all of the other high-end SUVs as the default go-to. Really sexy..

  3. Yeah. It has a new Ford Escape vibe to it. It is just an OK design. But the rear integrated spoiler and light look odd with the fast D-pillar. Maybe this is like the Cayenne, in that it might take a generation or two to find the right styling groove.

  4. Next to the Bentayga and the Urus, this is a masterpiece. But some details are still weird, like the ducktail spoiler on the boot that really looks out of place there. And i expected to find more wood in the interior. I'm curious to see if this will sell as well as they're hoping. After all we live in a post Greta Thunberg world, where big, gas-guzzling SUVs are heavily frowned upon, and there are more super-expensive SUVs in the market than there are Rappers and oil tycoons willing to buy them…
