2020 Hyundai Sonata

HERE are the fist pictures of the all new Hyundai Sonata for 2020.
Looking much sleeker than the current model. (bottom pic) And, could this be hiding a hatchback? Just like the new Buick Regal?
That would make it stand out against the competition from Honda, Toyota and Nissan.

Here is their Le Fit Rouge concept. Which supposedly inspired the design of the next Sonata.

Let's hope...

Love mid-size hatches ever since my '05 Malibu Maxx. Here's hoping.

It should be a hatchback, but I wouldn't bet on it. Most likely just another midsize sedan with an annoyingly narrow and useless trunk opening.

How many more years until Hyundai redesigns the Sonata's greenhouse?

Looks an awful lot like an MCE for the Buick Lacrosse. The greenhouse looks the same.

One of these things is not like the other.
One of these things dosen't belong.

Didn't really "inspire" the 2020 Sonata, but gives you an idea of that car though according an engineer. Next Sonata was given the go-ahead a year-and- half ago, way before the Le Fit Rouge concept started getting underway last summer. #obtuse
