2018 Nissan Leaf

Last Updated:

Here it is, finally.
The 2018 Nissan Leaf. Not all new, like I mentioned earlier. But still looks like a big improvement.
So far, the EV range seems to “only” be around 150 miles.
Which is way behind the newest EV cars on the market like the Tesla Model 3 and the Chevrolet Bolt.

But, apparently, the Leaf will be around $5000 less.
So I guess this isn’t too bad.

Still, I’m not sure 150 miles will convince buyers who were not earlier.
There is just something about that “over 200 miles range” that makes people much more comfortable about getting an electric car…
The inside is mostly new and revised (But not ALL new).

More pix and info soon….

  1. Nissan did a great job on this overhaul. Nicer looking than the Prius Prime and likely more reliable than the Chevy Bolt (1 recall already?).

  2. In Nissans Launch from Japan, they stated that combined, worldwide, Leafs have recorded over 3 BILLION KM of no battery failure driving. That's leaps a bounds ahead of Bolt or Volt or whatever that thing is….and much better than Telsa.
