2018 Mitsubishi Expander

Last Updated:

Here are better and official pictures of the all new Mitsubishi Expander.
Which is not coming to the US. This will stay mostly in a few Asian countries.
It has a small 1.5 Liter engine and seats up to 7 people. (must be great uphill…)
Mitsubishi has a long tradition of cool, small and roomy vans. Some even made it to the US until the 90’s.
But this is not one of them.
That face alone….
Let’s hope this is NOT what other future Mitsubishi models  will look like…

  1. Ok.

Looks like they dropped the 'E' in Xpander (according the the license plate).

Well, as long as it's not coming here.

  2. Looks like the designer of the front and back are from two different planets.
Front end butt ugly. Back end is ok.

  3. Imo Mitsubishi just needs to cut it's losses in North America. I think Chinese market Hondas even have better design engineering. Gone are the days of Starions, Galants, Mirages, Diamantes, Eclipses, and of course the Evolutions. I have no idea how this company is surviving.

  4. That front end is deceiving as what look like headlights are parking/drls, what look like fog lights are headlights and turn signals, with actual fog lights below all of that.

  5. I don't share your hatered of this car 🙂 I think it looks nice. Quite unusual, but not bad.
This could be the new Delica, which has a unique niche as an offroad minivan.

  6. Wow, something more hideous than the Nissan Maxima. Didn't think that was possible.

Keep up the great job Mitsubishi.

    Lol

  7. I think most folks would find this design acceptable, or possibly even attractive if the wheels were not so tiny. This is the kind of image I thought of immediately when I first saw it. (See tiny wheel lexus at https://imgur.com/tLzwQSR )
