More pictures of the Toyota FT-4X Concept.

I really love this. A weird blend of the FJ Cruiser and Honda element.

As it turns out, a production version of this would not be a replacement for the FJ Cruiser.
Which was a real off road SUV sharing a platform with the 4 Runner.

This new concept is based on the same platform as the all new C-HR.
So it’s not big at all.

The exterior is great, but that interior is amazing.
Fun, retro and futuristic at the same time.
No wonder the whole thing comes from the Calty design center in Newport beach.

Since it is based on an inexpensive production car, let’s hope (Actually let’s all get on out knees and pray to the Toyota Gods) they find a way to put this in production.
Soon!

This would be the closest thing to a Citroen Cactus we could actually get here in the US.

  1. More like Honda Crossroads that was sold in Japan with bits of Honda Element. The rear design reminds me of one of those personal mobile modular units seen in 2001 Space Odyssey, while the front looks like one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle characters.

The final version, in my opinion will look more like a brand new Ssangyoung Tivoli, meaning a conventional boxy 4 door with maybe some clues quirky minute details on the exterior of oddness, but nothing radical like the concept.
