Ford Fiesta Active “BurlappVideo”

Last Updated:

Here is the best way to discover the all new Ford Fiesta Active: A new Burlapp Video (TM)

I think the new Fiesta looks really good. And the Active version is really cute.

Something Ford should really consider offering it in the US.

But I read somewhere they are thinking off not bringing the new Fiesta in the US at all.

Which would be sad. It seems it has been a good seller here so far.

(Still almost 50 000 sold in the US last year…While Honda sold 56 000 units of the new Fit)

I think this “Active” version could work really well in the US.

What do you think?

  1. It would do well against the Nissan Rogue Sport, which by the way will replace the Juke from what a dealer had told me. Hopefully the Ford will have AWD optional.

The only reason Ford won't bring it here is that they will import the Indian made Ford EcoSport.

  2. I agree with you, I hope Ford does sell this here in the US. I test drove a Fiesta when I was car shopping in 2015 and REALLY liked it. It was so much more fun to drive than the Fit which I was also looking at. Unfortunately it was just a bit too small for my needs.

  3. I don't think the Rogue Sport is replacing the Juke since I hear they are working on a new Juke..
The Fiesta is also much smaller than the Rogue Sport.

You might be right about the Ecosport. Plus, the Ecosport is probably certified as a light truck. Which means less regulations and larger profit margin. The Fiesta would be a car.

  4. MAzda did the same thing with the CX-3 essentially replacing the Mazda2, which was fine because they were both modern vehicles based on the same platform and with similar features and interiors (see Toyota Yaris iA with the CX-3 dashboard). For Ford, it might not work out as well considering the EcoSport is an older design on an inferior platform.
