2017 Acura CDX

Last Updated:

Even though the new CDX is base on the Honda HR-V, it looks like Honda has been doing quite a redesign job.
They do look look quite different.
I mean even the hood cut is very different.
But; let’s face it, this is still very ugly.
Acura seems to be very lost. But, as I mentioned before, since everything raised up with a hatchback sells like hit cakes these days, this might very well end up over here too.

  1. I'm a 90's Acura fan and former owner. Gotta say… I'm just not feeling what they've been putting out.

  2. A revised grille would be mandatory to win US customers on the Acura. I would make is somewhat more narrow.

  3. Looks similar to the HRV. It will end up like the ILX, not selling. You cannot take en EGO trip in this car…

  4. Bash Acura as much as you would like but sales figures do not lie. The 2016 Acura ILX is outselling all the other premium carmakers lowest priced car even though it is "just a jazzed-up Honda Civic".

  5. "Figures do not lie" but YOU are.

Acura sold 18 531 units of the ILX last year.
ALL other premium car makers sold more of their lower end models:
    -Mercedes CLA: 29 643
    -Audi A3: 35 98
    -Buick Verano: 31 886.

    EVERYONE beats the ILX.
(And all these cars , except the Verano, cost thousands more than the ILX.)
