2016 Chevrolet Spark

Not sure what to think of this. Yet.

It has that “2nd generation design”feel to it. You know, when they just kinda copy the 1st one.
(Like the 2nd generation Altima back in 1998.)
It always wants to look more “grown up”, and ends up less fun…

I test drove the current model for a week, a couple of years ago. And quite liked it.
It was a manual, which I am sure helped.

The new one will be available with a new 1.4 Liter engine with CVT or 5 speed manual.

  1. It looks less comical and should appeal to a wider demographic, but it looks old–more like something I would expect from India.

  2. I'm not a fan of these tiny cars, so I probably can't submit an unbiased opinion on this vehicle. That being said, I think this new version definitely looks much less distinctive than the current version.
