Yes, this is a production car. NOT a concept.
Which seems really amazing. Even more so when you consider this is being introduced the same week as the 90’s looking 2015 Subaru Legacy.

This is what an inexpensive , roomy and stylish family car should look like in the 21st century.

Original and useful new technology too!
Like Airbump. Explained here:

Fitted to the sides of the car and the bumpers, Airbump® adds a graphic structure to the pure, smooth bodylines of the new Citroën C4 Cactus. Available in four colours (Black, Grey, Dune & Chocolate), they can be matched with the ten body colours and three choices of interior trim (Stone Grey Ambiance, Habana Highlight & Purple Highlight) to offer a wide range of customisation options.
Above all they provide real day-to-day protection, as the supple TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) skin comprises air capsules to absorb impacts. Airbump® requires no specific maintenance and directly contributes to cutting vehicle repair costs.

  1. Nice cut and paste job at the end of this article. What you did is plagiarism. You should give credit to the source you took this from.

  2. This is definitely a bit odd, but I like it a lot. The absorbent panels sound like a great idea.

Also interesting how it has a similar lighting setup to the new Cherokee, but manages to look much less like it was punched in the face than that one does.

  3. Anytime you use the words or thoughts of someone else, even a press release, and do not give credit from the source is plagiarism. The same thing applies to the photos you take from other websites without giving the source is plagiarism.

  4. If you look at the interior, its obvious that this is a very small car… its proportions outside are deceiving. That makes this all the more interesting that Citroen put so much detail into such a small pkg. Its a good thing Subaru and Honda don't have this to compete with in the US. But they should be involved in this level of detail in at least some of their vehicles anyways. I'm very impressed by this little company. LIke Mazda, they continuously thwart the giants and keep making unique stuff.

  5. Thanks for posting these, Vince. Its nice to see something other than another dull sedan sold in the US.

  6. Wow, it's hard to believe that this is an actual production vehicle and not just a concept! It's not the prettiest thing on 4 wheels, but it's refreshingly quirky, original and modern. I would totally rock one of these!

  7. You should look up big words like "plagiarism" before using them.
I simply used the official Citroen press release.

Available to anyone (even you, Mr. Anonymous) here:

(another copy and paste by the way…But still not plagiarism)
