Some more pictures of the new Honda Vezel

Last Updated:

Or the new “Fit SUV”.

I think it looks better than the new Fit actually. But still… (What doesn’t)

Look at this. Way too many lines. Everywhere.

If it looks like a Chinese design, it’s because China is now everybody’s largest market.
And Honda’s new priority. Not the US anymore.

So get ready for many more Chinese looking Hondas. And others….

  1. Rear door handles above belt line pretty much guarantee a family with young children won't buy this car. Door handles belong on doors!

  2. I visit your website at least 5 times a day and you do a great job keeping the public updated with the latest news. But what I have noticed, is that you really dislike Honda. For example when Hyundai comes out with a product and has many lines like the sonata and elentra, you all a sudden love their products and make them seem like they are the hottest products on the market. On the other hand when Honda comes with a product like a accord or Vezel and they have some lines, you make them seem like they are the ugliest cars ever made. I been working for ford the last 20 years and I can say most of the costumers still have a hard time buying a ford because they are not sure if they drive the same as a Honda. I'm not talking about Toyota or Nissan. Honda is a wonderful machine to drive and there is nothing on the market that can beat out the accord!!! next time be little constant with your comments!!!

  5. All Honda would need to do is give this a nose job before bringing it here. They wont, but they should – that grill is pure shyte, design-wise. Second design issue with this is that rear door handle… makes any car with it look cheap, like an after thought. And I've never talked to anyone that bought a car with them that liked them after they had to live with it. Overall, real nice design. Honda just sucks at the details and has lacked good taste for the entire last decade.

  6. You visit 5 times a day, work for Ford, and defend Honda online? You're right, the Accord is a really good car. THIS is not the Accord. This car will sell great. But it'd sell better if they make the front end a little less busy.

  7. You Ford guy, how dare you to say that to Vince. As far as I can tell, his comments and evaluations have been pretty accurate. Just read his comments again, when the car is ugly he does not hesitate to say that it is so for any models and manufacturers. Where did you get the stats for his Honda comments??? To be honest, Honda's recent designs are all fugly. This is a fact!!! So shut the eff up!

  8. Honda is Abe(the Japan's prime minister)'s dog. They NEVER (not even for one model) hire foreigners to design their cars. They are very strong nationalists and conceded that they are the best in the world.

  9. When does Honda introduce this CUV to the States? I was wondering which American car show this car will be introduced at and then get the information when the car will be available to the US public..

    Anyone?

  10. Revive the Element, Honda. Man up and stop your worrying that offering the Element will deter CR-V sales. It's the Vezel that will do that! Silly car execs.

  11. The Vez' should be a hot seller for Honda since I saw the new Fit at NAIAS, they need a little help for that model.

  12. Reading its comments regarding visiting this site 5x a day…works for Ford but loves Honda…LOL!

    Hypocrite troll posts!

  13. I will agree with some of the comments, that this site often seems like the Hyundai News Network. Maybe I notice it more since I despise Hyundai.

Regardless, ugly is ugly. And this little Honda is damned ugly.

  14. I don't think it looks that bad overall, but it doesn't look that great either. Where it looks worst is up front–there's nothing attractive about that face. I think it makes a good Honda from the b-post back. The rear end, IMO, looks pretty sporty and aggressive in this pic.

  15. Same here, i don't think it looks bad at all, it's sub-compact size SUV, so if you make a plain jane typed design, people would be all over it.

  16. I never thought it would happen, but people actually bought the Nissan Juke…this will sell just fine.

  17. To the commenter that mentioned that this will take CRV sales…

Honda Japan made this. They made it for Japan where the CRV is too large. They don't really think beyond the JDM and the rest of Am Honda is just as f'd up. So, I'm also sorry to say that anything that ISN"T a CUV or a butt-ugly slow sedan just isn't gonna happen at Honda. Keep pushing them tho. And buy elsewhere in the meantime. Honda can make great cars when their execs get out of the way.
