2015 Chrysler 200

Officially shown today for the 1st time. But nothing new to anyone with an internet connection since pictures have leaked a few days ago.

I really like the way they designed the wood trim on the dash. It does feel quite original, for once.

But I  still think the exterior looks way too much like the Fusion. Like if Chrysler designers scrapped whatever they were doing when they saw the Ford and decided to follow the same design instead.

But. The true horror in these pictures is the gold/champagne trim in the light interior. What the hell???

Please. tell me this is just a reflection...

Unfortuntaely it's not, Vince. They have the same god awful gold trim in the 2013 Grand Cherokee. It's even more hiddeous in the flesh than it is in pictures. No idea what they were thinking on that one.

I like the new 200, especially the front end. But isn´t this too similar in size, layout and even most details (e.g. the wood on the dash) compared to the Dart? I always thought that Chrysler and Dodge play in different leagues...

This is going to be a winner and I'd be interested in getting one! It looks like they picked up where they left off in 2000. This is in a sense a "retro" grille design. Although the revized 300 style egg crate design was highly improved for 200 in the line up, this style was a better look for their vehicles back in the late 90s early 2000s as they discontinued their waterfall grille.

Amorphous sea-blob interior. It's a car Jar Jar Binks would drive.
