More pix of the Alfa Romeo 4C

Last Updated:

Sure it does look great. But the interior seems a bit of a let down. At least on that picture.
These seats seem really flat. Especially the headrests!

And it does look a bit cheap. Like these 80’s and 90’s Alfas.
They are talking about 240hp from the small 1750cc Turbo engine. For a car that will be over $60 000.
Which is more than a Boxter.
And no manual!  Even the Fiat 500 gets a manual.

And.. They might be making only a couple of thousands of these.

So it seems that we should look elsewhere for Alfa’s true return to the US.
A limited edition car won’t do it.
I must say, this is all a bit dissapointing…

I guess next is the small SUV and mid sized sedan….

  1. They've taken far too long to get this thing to market and it's likely that many have just lost interest.

Additionally… If this cost anywhere near what the 2014 Corvette Stingray will be going for (near 60k), any true sports car enthusiast would have to be completely daft to buy it over the 2014 Stingray.

  2. It's handsome, but doesnt it look like an Alpha version of the Lotus Elise? It looks like they could be made on the same assembly line.

  3. Nice looking profile. Boring interior. A little too cartoonish. Is this the current day Ferrari Dino

  4. I think this could do well against the likes of the BRZ/Scion but not sure if it will be priced similarly.

  5. Reading your articles has become painful.

I think I'll be removing my bookmark. There isn't anything here that I can't get from other automotive websites that use spell check and proof their work.

    This is terrible.

  6. The Alfa 4C looks gorgeous!

I don't think there are too many people thinking about either buying a Corvette Stingray or this Alfa. They stay for something very different.

And for the interior…you don't even see what it really looks like. So we'll have to wait for more pictures…the seats probably need to be flat like this, because it is very tight…

I can't wait to see them drivinga round. And I hope that they build at least 2.500 a year…otherwise it would really be disappointing…

  7. The Alfa 4C looks gorgeous. One of the best looking cars for a long time.

Can't wait to see them driving around, so let's hope they produce at least 2.500 per year…

To say something about the interior is to early. We have to wait for a better angle. But the seats have to be that flat, because the 4C has a very tight cabin.

Dav…the Corvette Stingray and this Alfa cannot be compared. They stay for something very different.

  8. a 60K ferrari? not a bad idea, actually. imo, the sports car class has become a bit pedestrian, this definately breaks out of the bread-and-butter, for the masses field. just hope this near-exotic doesnt become too popular (otherwise it would loose the exotic flair). interesting problem fiat AG has created.

The two posters above are correct, you are getting worse and worse.

Let's correct your work, I'll break it down point by point. Feel free to put it into paragraph form and edit your post.

    1. Sure, it does look great.
    2. The interior seems like a bit of a letdown, at least IN that picture.
    3. Those seats seem really flat, especially the headrests.
    4. It does look a bit cheap, like THOSE 80's and 90's Alfas.
    5. They are talking about 240 horsepower from A small 1750cc turbo engine for a car that will retail for over $60,000.
    6. That is more than a BoxSter and it doesn't have a manual available, even the Fiat 500 gets a manual.
    7. Rumor is this will be a limited production vehicle, with only a couple thousand examples.
    8. So, it seems that we should look elsewhere for Alfa's true return to the US, a limited edition vehicle won't do it.
    9. I must say, this is a bit disappointing.
    10. I don't even know what the hell this sentence is, Vince.

Vince, I counted 23 grammatical, spelling, and sentence structure errors in your post which was ONLY 120 words. That's disgusting. My wife's seventh grade students can write better than you can, and put more effort into their work.

I mean, I don't know if you are doing this to be funny, but it isn't funny. I've started visiting your site less and less.

  10. whos that dweeb, loser that is so quick to correct Vince and is so proud his wife is a teacher…..what a loser. Point is dumbkopf, Vince has a Blog and you are on it. Know your place and by the way, Vince doesn't remember hiring you as a consultant. I pity your kids, please don't have any, they will hate you.

  11. This car is hot. The interior looks very purposeful. Yes, the seats appear to be very flat and the exterior paint shows on the inside of the doors, which may be a problem when it appears in person. But until I see it in the "metal," I'm going to have to assume that it's going to be a typical Italian sports car… very sexy with a lot of idiosyncrasies.

Looks like you should have stayed in school too.

Our three kids love us and my wife has her PhD in childhood psychology and a MA in education, but whatever you would like to believe!
