2014 Kia Optima

Looks like the Optima will be getting some changes for next year. Although I think it is still one of the best looking cars in its class and hope they don't mess it up.
This is the current model.
As you can see, it is really hard to tell any of the changes for next year's model. Looks like the headlights will gain LEDs.
Not sure why they would also cover the sides of the car since I don't think they would redesign the doors.
We'll see...

I have absolutely zero reservation in stating that the current Kia Optima is the single handsomest mid-sized sedan existent - Bar None!

Kia's undoubtedly well aware of this and looks to only be adding a few nips & tucks to the front and rear lighting clusters... Which isn't even required on such a cohesively penned design, but they likely figure that they have to do something to differentiate it from the current version.

Hyundai-Kia are the busy bee of the automotive industry. They just keep themselves busy. Hats off to them.

Unlike certain brands that push stale product in it's first year, the Optima is just the opposite, I'm actually afraid of what they'll be changing! I guess this refresh will me the current (2013) SXL a one off since the next one will be cosmetically different. I'm not sure how they will be differentiated 2014 on because I'm sure LEDs will be available on the EX and up.

I agree with all posts here. Best-looking PERIOD. I was so impressed that I went to a dealer to buy one. Up close--BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! Makes VW & Dodge feel like a million bucks. Love the exterior; shocked at the poor quality and erraticness of the interior. For this level of fit and finish the car is WAY OVERPRICED! I left. Bought something more reliable, more impressive close-up; for $3000 LESS! Kia is there on style--but 5 years away yet on quality.
