Ford Fiesta ST (US)

The Fiesta does look better for the new year.
And the new ST model sure looks the part of the sporty version.
And with 200hp from the 1.6 Liter Turbo engine, it should be pretty quick.
I see the interior has been revised a bit. As it is pretty horrible and cheap on the current version.
The current car is really nothing fun to drive. Weather it is with the rough and clunky auto, or the manila. Which just doesn’t have enough power.
I am sure the 200hp version is much, much better.

Honestly, what the hell are you talking about? This is the THIRD TIME you have criticized the Fiesta for having a cheap interior. Are you sure you are thinking about the same car???
Every. Single. Reputible. Publication. has said it has hands down the best interior in its segment (it does) but you say it is terrible.
This leads me to believe that:
A. You have no idea what you are talking about, which you really don't.
B. You are a nobody and you are trying to make waves to gain clicks.
I don't even like Ford, but I can say that this is the nicest interior out of all B segment vehicles. Maybe there is a reason why Nissan is the only manufacturer that will give you access to their press fleet.
Anonymous 6:21, the interior of the current Fiesta looks like it came out of any cheap rental from the past 10 years. Nothing special.
Maybe it's not the worse, but it is cheap and nasty.
I don't see how it can have the best interior in its segment, unless you exclude the Fiat 500 (similar size and price).
Perhaps you mean the "North American Fords that are smaller than a Focus" segment? If that's the case, then you are 100% correct.

Harsh comment. Be nice. Professional reviews are just opinions. Does Jeremy Clarkson always make 100% sense. No way. And opinions are like a$$holes. We all have them. And opinions about cars often have a lot more to do with brand affinity than the actual vehicle. Hence, the Ford/Chevy or Honda/Toyota or Mac/PC geekfeuds that have existed forever.
Vince loves Hyundai/Kia. This site often is exclusively dedicated to gushing news about those vehicles. I had a lemon Hyundai as did my cousin, so I generally don't agree with Vince's take on how wonderful they are. But that's his opinion, and it's his site. I weigh in sometimes, but I don't call people names.
So if you don't like it, keep your personal attacks to yourself.
I agree with the previous post saying that the regular Fiesta's interior is among the best in its class.
Obviously, everyone has their own ideas as to what is attractive… But one should not call the Fiesta's interior "horrible and cheap."
That just isn't true.
Vince, I can understand if you don't care for the styling. But it's far from "horrible." And there are plenty of other cars in the class with interiors that can be truthfully deemed "cheap."
The Fiesta isn't one of them.
Price?

This looks like something from the 80's. Seriously?
These things start at $13k. So is it cheap for a $13-17k car? Or is it good enough that you find yourself comparing it to $18-$25k cars and it comes up a bit short?
