More pictures of the revised Hyundai Genesis Coupe

Last Updated:

This looks to be a cheaper model than the one pictured earlier.
It seems to have less chrome up front and around the side window. So I’d say it must be a 2.0 Liter model.

I think the changes work. With a new interior and revised engines, the new Coupe is even a better buy than before.

  1. I agree with the comment about the front. It comes across as trying too hard? May be it is the close up. However, it is still a hell of a deal of a coupe.

  2. The front of the current Genesis coupe is very weak. This is better, but it's still a little off. The hood scoops scream Pontiac.

  3. I agree with the first post. They ruined the front end! While the current design wasn't ground breaking, at least it was relatively handsome. This is horrible and would keep me from buying one!

  4. I find it funny how people think the front end is ruined when it resembles the GT-R quite a bit. The older front wend was indeed weak. And now we know that this front end isn't a photoshop.

  5. That front end is way to busy. Maybe lose the scoops on the hood. The previous Genesis while bland, had a refined upscale G37 look. This one screams cheap Hyundai Elantra hatchback. A rare step backwards for Hyundai. The good news is will probably only be around for a few more years because the Genesis platform is due for a redesign.

  6. gimme a 280hp turbo 2.0L or a 350hp 3.8L v6 and I wouldn't care less about how the front end looks like

  7. I agree with the last Anon regarding the power range of 280 hp turbo etc.

Hyundai may indeed boost power, along with upping available options on the turbo since the sub $20k category has been filled by the Veloster.
