Those big Pontiacs (like the Executive Wagon) were very roomy, comfortable cars. Not even a Mercedes or Lexus 4XX is as smooth-riding as those things were. I'd give up tight handeling in a heartbeat if I could find a car as big & comfortable & smooth as even the mid-level American full-sizes of the '60's & '70's!!!
Give up tight handeling? Really? The cars from those era were awful handling cars, which equal poor safety manuevering. I Don't miss the floaters of yesterday at all, well except for some of the awesome styling they had back in the day.
