2012 Hyundai Santa Fe

With all these new Hyundai models in the past couple of years, I was wondering about the good old Santa Fe.

Well, the next one looks pretty much ready to come out.

Next year will see the all new Santa Fe.
Just wondering of it'll keep the V6, or, like the Sonata, will rely on 4 cylinder engines only.

We'll see...

I wonder if they bothered to design this specifically as the "new" Santa Fe or if they decided to save costs and build the Portico.

Awesomeness
I don't think they will bring any of their diesels but they should definitively compete with Highlander-Hybrid
Is this really ALL-new or just refresh?

The current Santa Fe is a bit bland, but not offensive. One thing Hyundai did right in my opinion with the current model is the windows. Good visibility all around. I don't understand the current trend with tiny windows and the poor visibility that comes with them. Just another way to push their $2000 rearview camera/satnav system...Too bad this one seems to be doing the same thing.

The side profile makes it look like a large Tucson. What is it with Hyundai and their continuing efforts to have such limited rear visibility? Check out the new Veloster and Accents for additional proof.

I think that the current design is rather average. But, a colleague bought it and is very pleased so far.

Why am I afraid this will look like a 3/4-scale Traverse? The current one isn't exactly groundbreaking, but it was really the first Hyundai you could actually call attractive.

I guess it's the law now that every cross-over must have an upswept rear panel
