2013 Ford C-Max Energi

Last Updated:

The energi version is basically a more expensive Plug-in Hybrid.

Ford is hoping to get a 500 driving range between the gas engine and the pure electric.
Pretty much all we know so far.

On an other note, it looks like all “green” Fords now have the Aston Martin grille. Including the Electric Focus…

I think that's hilarious. Under Ford's ownership I'm sure that this would not have happened. But now that AM is middle eastern owned, and bastardizing the brand by putting the grille on a $hitty Toyota, why not? It's almost like Ford is giving them the middle finger. Love it!

The car actually seems pretty interesting too.

  2. Seems like Prius-MPV will have competition after all…actually Prius-MPV is not Plug-in… hopefully soon

  3. When I get my gasoline-DI Focus, I'm going to put the Electric's Aston frontend on it – – the only way I'll ever afford an A.M.
    😀

    &
imho Ford PAID for that frontend over & over
    so there!

  4. 500 mile driving range on electric is pretty good; that's a lot more than the Chevy Volt now I think…

And what's up with this grille? So now Aston Martin is making a quick buck by selling their grille to be used on affordable Ford cars??
