2012 Audi A6

Last Updated:

These are the most realistic illustrations I’ve seen so far of the next A6.

Which basically will look like an A7 with a trunk.
Or a larger A4.
Or a smaller A8.
Or a slightly more modern version of the current A6….

  1. Classy looking car. I prefer it to the 5 series. And with the supercharged engine it can kick a few butts.

  2. I don't think that most people buy these cars to "kick some butts" like some infantile twit might.

This is about right since it matches the other Audi car designs.

  3. going to have to do some visual comparos but in the rear quarter view, the greenhouse doesn't look like any existing Audi to me – think I like it a LOT so far

Sooooooooo glad this one doesn't have the Mazda-envy hump over the front wheels!!!
    or maybe worse a sea-sick beltline :p

  4. ps
now all they have to do is stop letting the designer's 10 year old daughter do the car's eyemake-up … I mean the silly shape of the HL's LEDs

  5. Besides the R8, it's hard for me to like any Audi's. They all look basically the same. I thought luxury was supposed to be about exclusivity. BMW suffers from the same thing these days too.

I know it's not a lot of people's cup of tea, but I love how Infiniti atleast has different lines and look to each of their cars.

Are you projecting? Why do you think AUDI offers a supercharged engine? In any event, I would not buy this car, because it has no identity. It is sort of lost in the shuffle.

  7. Audis really know how to do it right. I've been looking at the new 5 series. And while I do like it a lot, Audis are slightly more coherent looking. And if the 5 doesn't improve the steering by the time this comes out, there'll be no contest.

  8. Audi offers a supercharger just to help destroy the overpriced underengineered german crap car faster.

Are you high? I just attended a luxury marketing conference in New York, where one of the researchers reported that Audi is the most coveted automotive brand among millionaires. So this car might get lost in the shuffle among the masses. But I'm sure Audi doesn't really care too much about that.

  10. Yeah Right…Audi can barely rack up A4 sales in the USA….Unless millionaires are that scarce……
