This will be a nice and well put together little car. That said, Buick Ameria right now does not have enough brand prestige to make folks want to run out and buy this car. It will be quite awhile if ever before americans see buick in the same light as the chinese do.

But tats a s far as it goes for now. They are JUST now getting people over 60 to CONSIDER their cars (which isd an enormous feat in itself) But to try to lure the under 30 crowd with this hatch – as good as it may be – is simply too much too fast.
The Chinese have loved Buick since the 30s before Mao booted Buick out.
This little hatch and sedan could be a good thing for Buick. It can target the HS and CT from Lexus, just minus the hybrid part.
I disagree with those who say under 30's won't consider this car. Buick has always had a quality reputation, and styling sells. As long as it's priced right, and has the proper power and handeling dynamics I think people will buy it. Besides, people under 30 arn't any of the Luxury marques target.
If Buick sells the hatch,then I will consider a test drive.
