Previewing the next Hyundai Tucson

Last Updated:

Hyundai will unveil this new concept at the upcoming geneva auto show.

Unlike most of their previous concepts, this one is pretty much what the next Tucson will look like (Now called iX35 in Europe).
They are also talking about a new 2.0 Liter Turbo with over 200hp as an optional engine.

  1. Looks like the Genesis Coupe 2.0T engine will have another application…..good! It saves them money. I wish they would put it in the elanta touring as well!

  3. This will be great!!! THe tucson is a great little suv now…. It is just teh right size and priced great. the current one is just a little outdated. But if hyundai does with this what they have done with all their other cars, this will continue to be a huge seller for them.

  4. Hyundai found some adult designers…Where did their cretin children designers go? Toyota? To live with Chris Bangle?

  5. really and Truely…no one sees it. C’mon people, Vince. It’s 100% Murano. The Nissan groundbreaking design that was here waaaay back in 2002. It’s 7 years later and weak Hyundai leaks a drawing of a 100% copy. How fitting. Tells the “Whole” Story. You call yourselves car people?

  6. Of course, this looks completely like the next gen tuscon prototype that was seen in the spy shots month ago.

  7. Weve already seen protoypes running around and this looks nothing like it, the camoed cars look alot like the current one with a little nip and tuck, why are Hyundai’s drawings always so futuristic looking and when the real vehicle comes out its always a dissapointment, they love to set us up and then let us down !

  8. Vince, I only wish that the new Tucson looked half as good as this concept drawing! Having seen the redesigned model in person, all I can say is that it looks more like a 3/4 scaled down version of the current Santa Fe. Smaller in size than the current Tucson but with more torque and horsepower under the hood.

  9. “where w they cant even fee they r own peol”

    Who’s “they”?

Hyundai is now starting to make competitive stuff.

  10. Douchbag, you’re SUCH a disappointment! You actually spelled several words correctly. You’re absolutely NO FUN when you show this unseemly sober and coherent side. PLEASE, before you post again, take 3 Xanax, 1 Roofie, 1 RedBull and a fifth of Wild Turkey…THEN type. We miss the old you.

  11. I don’t understand why Hyundai is switching to these names by numbers. I don’t know if they are trying to ape Lexus or BMW or what, but I think people will just be unable to remember these names. The Tucson is pretty popular in my country (Spain), but I doubt a car named “iX35”, even if it is better, will be as present in the minds of potential buyers
