2010 Saab 9-3X

Last Updated:

I guess this is ore or less the “Outback” of Saabs.
I got to drive a 9-3 Wagon for a week a while ago, and it was a great car.
Good looking, solid and comfortable.
This new version should be quite popular. But an all new version like this also means the current 9-3 range will be around for quite a while…

  1. I don’t quite understand why recently everyone seems to think that the current 9-3 range is excessively dated or old. OK, it just turned 6, but that is quite normal for a European car, and it has been facelifted recently, so I don’t think it would be out of the ordinary for it to last another couple of years. It’s the 12-year-old 9-5 that I’m worried about, but at least we know that there is a replacement for that coming soon.

  2. Anyone who buys a Saab new is an absolute idiot, I am sorry.

Their depreciation is the worst in the business, worse than Kia or Hyundais. Their vehicles are not competitive in their respective classes and they are horribly unreliable.

If you absolutely must have a Saab, buy a year old one and save yourself $15,000 and the heartache from looking like an idiot when you go to sell it.

Current still the only way to get a “Malibu Wagon (9-3) and Malibu Wagon EXT (9-5)”

Ummm the 9-5 is a purebred Saab. The 9-3 on the other hand, is not.

Does no one do any reasearch anymore????
